The rOtring Quattro provides a ballpoint pen (blue), a highlighter, a stylus for your handheld, as well as a mechanical pencil (0.5mm) all in one attractive and versatile multipen that is pure business. And for those forgetful types, the Quattro even has an automatic point retraction device that keeps your shirt pockets free of ink marks. Hey, life is complicated enough. Simplify with the rOtring Quattro.

Customer Rating: Summary: rotring quattro - wish I had ordered more Comment: I have had the graphite quattro pen for about 3-4 years and I absolutely love it. I can't even think of a time of what I used before this one.
This is the only skinny pen that I love to use. I've tried others and have not been as comfortable as this one. I don't find the pen to be to slippery and unresponsive.
I am currently using Staedler refills and work just fine. Personally, I think the ink flows better with the Staedler refills.
Overall, it's great because it's comfortable, nice weight and balance.
The only minor gripes I have are the small eraser and chipping glaze. I hate to use the eraser because I don't want to have to replace it often. I will use a different eraser if need be. The shiny coating on the graphite is also prone to chipping. I have a few chipped parts but most has still held on. The chipping might be because I have not exactly been too careful with my pen. I've placed it in my bag with other pens/pencils, pants pocket, dropped it, etc.
I just wish I had ordered more of this pen. So sad to hear that it has been discontinued and would have to pay >$50 for the pen.
Loved this so much, that I bought the Rotring Executive pen. slightly larger and shinier, but a bit slippery.
Customer Rating: Summary: Nice idea, but falls apart, Get the Lamy 4pen instead. Comment: I've had three of these pens (took me a while to learn, I guess). Slthough I initially liked the Rotring, each one failed at about 5 months due to a design flaw. The clip, when you press the top of it, retracts the point of the penlet. The clip's hinge is so flimsily made and poorly deisgned that it wears out and breaks and the clip falls off.
Advice: don't get this pen. Instead, get what I finally got: the Lamy 4pen. Same idea, more comfortable, longer lasting, and the pen refills are better (they skip less). Though the Rotring is cheaper than the Lamy, it's a false economy. Shell out the extra cash for the Lamy (also available at Amazon).
