Based on the DivX Compatible DVD Player with Ethernet Connection, DP-500, the KiSS DP-508 goes even further on the road of innovation. Like its predecessors, this player reads all standard DVDs, DivX 3.11, DivX 4, DivX 5 files along with XviD, MPEG-4, audio files like MP3 or standard Audio CDs, if connected to a Broadband Internet Connection it will even find the track names after the insertion of a music CD. Jpeg pictures can also be viewed. Its Ethernet capabilities enable the KiSS DP-508 to read Audio/Video/Pictures files that are currently on a PC with KiSS PC-Link Software.Providing the user has a Boadband Internet connection Internet Radio with KiSS WebRadio can be played. But, the main new feature of this player resides in the addition of an 80 GB Hard Disk, enabling the user, to store Audio/Video/Picture files. These can be easily downloaded from a CD or from a PC on the DVD Player. Then a User Friendly list Interface permits the user to browse and choose among the stored file. The KiSS DP-508 also comes complete with the standard CD/MP3, Ogg Vorbis, DivX, XviD, CD-RW and DVD+-RW playback.
