Editorial Reviews:

Joseph's Lite Sugar Free Cookies are the most recognized and best loved sugar free cookies in the world. 2g of carbs per cookie or 7-8g per serving At the age of nine, Joseph Semprevivo was diagnosed with diabetes and by age 12, he created the first sugar free ice cream on the market. At 15 (1986) Joseph's Cookies and brownies were released into the mass market. On a mission to share his creation with other diabetics, he started by visiting local stores and speaking with apprehensive store managers. Store by store, city by city, state by state, Joseph steadily grew his business. Because of the quality of their products they have won numerous awards including: The American Taste Award, Superior Product Award, NFDA All-Natural Product, FDM All-Natural Award, Sugar-Free Award, Healthy Product Award, The Quality Hero Award, Senate Productivity Award, Governors Viva Award, Blue Chip Award, Chamber Business of the Year Award, was named "The Best Sugar-Free Cookie of the year 2002" and "Grocery Product of the Month". Summary: Yummy!
Comment: These are the best sugar-free cookies I have ever had. Granted, I am new at this. I don't find that they have an obvious fake sweetness or after-taste. The ingredients are wholesome and I feel pretty good about eating them. My only complaint is that there are not more chocolate chips. Oh, and no gas. I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about.

Summary: Prefer the lemon brand
Comment: I saw these cookies advertised on QVC before Christmas. After reading a few of the reviews on Amazon, I decided to place an order. I don't care for the chocolate chip cookies. However, the lemon cookies are pretty good with no aftertaste. Many of the sugar free products I've tried can cause gas to build up. Perhaps, that is a side effect of sugar free products. I don't know. I plan to share the cookies with friends.

Summary: Want gas?
Comment: These cookies and the brownies as well cause a lot of gas. They are very hard cookies and the brownies are very hard as well. There is a strange after taste from the product too.

I shared these with my diabetic friends and we all had the same results.

I don't recommend these products.
