Summary: Quality item works well in many environments
Comment: This item arrived relatively quickly and with no problems. The item was packaged well, but not in an over the top fashion, which is the unfortunate case with many of today's products.
It's a simple affair: long willow branches, stripped of any smaller off-shoots, bound together with a weather resistant wire scaffolding. The wire is not obvious and used minimally to great effect: the branches are close together and pliable, allowing for man-handling and a rough touch.
I live in a city environment and have used small black zip-ties to secure it to the railing between my neighbor's deck and my own. It stands straight and true, providing an organic privacy screen in an otherwise urban environment. This is the second one I've had the pleasure of owning. The last one weathered outside for 3 years, and gracefully fell to pieces as one would expect from organic matter.
Of note, due to it's nature, you can trim and shape the branches to your desired effect: in my case I have trimmed one end of it in order to more closely hug the profile of my house. The wood is sturdy and snips easily with a strong set of garden shears or wire snips (which I used in this case - all the easier to cut the wires should you not need the whole length).
Very pleased with the consistency of the product and price point over time. Highly recommended.

Comment: I think I was expecting something more like bamboo, but the willow is gorgeous. It was easy to attach (with my wire) to my deck and it created a bit of a shaded sanctuary. The wire holding it together seems well placed and very sturdy.
