Comment: I often look for this hard to find glue in the store and am thrilled when I stumble across it. Finally thought to check Amazon! This is my favorite. It's the first glue I turn to for my basic household fix ups like glass or plastic.

Summary: The best glue multipurpose glue around
Comment: I just finished repairing a broken candy dish, and as I was doing so, I thought what a GREAT glue this is. I remember my parents using this years ago, and growing up I did as well. Then I strayed, believing all the hype about "super" glue, and I kept trying that. It just is not as good. I don't believe it bonds any better, it does not allow that flexibility as to repositioning time, and it makes your fingers stick to one another in an unpleasant way....making your job repairing even more difficult.
I've used this to repair so many things, and it's just unbeatable.
A while back, someone asked me to suggest a really good glue, and I remember saying "it may be old-fashioned in the world of superglues, but Duco cement is great."

Summary: The real superglue
Comment: I have used duco cement on porcelain, phenolic plastic, wood and ceramic. It is great, and has the best drying time than I have ever experienced. I will never buy super glue again. I have not had much luck with really any of the super glues or crazy glues, and the ones that were good usually sell for $4 and up. This is a great cheaper alternative. Nothing beats a strong bond for under a buck. I have also managed not to glue my fingers to each other or the item I am gluing as with super glue. A little acetone gets what I do have on my fingers when done, right off.
For the person who posted the review, (Holly), I do believe you should have used the Duco Model Cement. Most baby dolls are made from polystyrene plastic and the back of the tube says for that sort of plastic to use the Model Cement.

Comment: I bought this to repair a broken toy for my daughter. It didn't come close to doing the job. It may work on some materials, but definitely not on plastic.
