Published in the interest of those devoted to game fowl.

Summary: Amazon Doesn't Get My Money
Comment: It's been over a year since I chose to no longer purchase anything through Amazon due to their sale of materials that promote animal fighting. Since these materials are still being carried, I will continue to take my business elsewhere. Their choice. My choice.

Summary: Game Fowl
Comment: I am always somewhat amused by the writers that claim that "it's a sport that's illegal," so thus it must not be available reading.

That's liberal thinking???

Do just a cursory search, and you will find books regarding marijuanna and drug manufacturing, explosives, pornography, homosexuality, etc.

All available at amazon.com...and guess what, I don't care! Let the individual be the censor. Now THAT's liberal thinking.

Oh, by the way...I think game fowl is a great tradition, that should have stayed legal. Learning how to raise, breed, and yes..CARE FOR these animals would be much better than wasting time on modern "entertainment." You can keep "The View," "Oprah," and MTV.

Once again, people who never stepped in a barn, farm, or let alone actually witnessed how well the cockers take car of their roosters, create and enforce policy. Unreal.

Believe me, game fowl lives a longer and a more pampered existance than your soon to be McNugget birds do.

Summary: BEWARE THE BOOK BURNERS
Comment: Excellent magazine or bad magazine? It doesn't matter because it is in the eye of the beholder. Some people will find this magazine interesting and others will not. What is important is that Amazon believes that it is our right to read this magazine and make up our own minds.
Books are simply thoughts and book banning is thought control. Banning a book is intolerance and it doesn't matter whether you are left wing , right wing, conservative, liberal, gay, straight or any other point of view you can imagine. The enemy of peace and freedom is people who try to impose their own morality on others. I may not like animal rights literature but would never ask Amazon to ban it.
By the way Grit and Steel is in my opinion a good magazine and well worth a read. I doubt that Amazon makes more than coke money off of the subscriptions it sells from this magazine and stands to lose considerably more from the loss of animal rights literature that it also sells to "RIGHT THINKING" Americans. It appears their stand on selling this magazine has more to do with freedom than it does profit. If so animal right activists also owe a debt of gratitude to Amazon for defending our rights to read both Grit and Steel and animal rights literature.
Thank you Amazon!

Summary: FMD
Comment: I purchase a great amount of items through Amazon and I am now questioning if I should ever give my money over to a site that promotes illegal animal fighting. For the person who has made a comment about "America" and crazy Peta people- is this what you think Americans should be proud of?. It is not our right as Americans to fight animals and as a matter of fact it is not your constitutional right as an American. It is illegal!!!! If it is OK for Amazon to promote cruel illegal activities then why not have books on how to be a better pimp, drug dealer or child molester. This too is freedom of the press but this type of literature would stir up our proud red neck Americans! Ignorance is not bliss (at least not for animals).Grit and Steel

Summary: ILLEGAL!
Comment: amazon needs to be ashamed of themselves, choosing cruelty for a quick buck. What's next? kiddie porn? i hear there's a market for that, too.
