Comment: Not worth the purchase, it does give off some light to see at night, but not with any clarity. The range is short. Probably a night vision camera or motion lights would be the best option.

Comment: I bought this to use with an X10 camera, and at first thought it didn't work. When I experimented with another brand B&W camera I discovered that it was actually quite bright and lit up the yard very well, kind of like a large spotlight / flashlight would.
All in all does what it says - except with x10 cameras.
