Umbrella or sunscreen? Take away the guesswork with this cable-free weather forecaster. The forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours--sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, or even snowy--reveals itself in icons on the liquid crystal display. Also shown are indoor and outdoor temperature and relative humidity; barometric pressure; rising, falling, and steady trends; comfort level; and the date and time. Data is transmitted from the included remote thermo-hygrometer sensor to the main unit at a range of up to 100 feet. The main unit, which measures 6-1/2 by 4-1/2 by 1-1/2 inches, supports up to three remote sensors and stands alone or can be wall-mounted. A backlight makes the display easy to read at night. The radio-controlled crescendo alarm clock with snooze function automatically synchronizes the current date and time with the U.S. atomic clock. Summary: Forecasting is only fair, but useful thermometer/hygrometer
Comment: This "forecaster" only does a fair job forecasting. A sun/clouds/rain icon forecast is based on changes in barometric pressure, and is fooled a some of the time.

As a thermometer/hygrometer, though, it's been great. Having multiple sensors has allowed me to monitor outside, my basement (for humidity in the summer) and my children's rooms.

The clock is nice, but I really didn't need it. It is accurate though.
