Summary: Nice plaything for the very young
Comment: I bought this for my 20-month old daughter for Christmas, and she enjoys carrying the purse around and taking things in and out of it. I suspect that it won't be too long before she prefers to have a phone she can push buttons on and some lip stuff she can actually apply, but it is a nice plaything for now!

Summary: Cute, With a Few Disappointments
Comment: My three year old daughter always makes a rush for mom's purse the moment I get in the door, so I decided to get her this one based on the reviews.

The purse itself is very cute, with a fuzzy pink handle. She loves the plastic lipstick, putting it on both her and mommy quite regularly. The mirror and keys are serviceable as well.

The few disappointments come when you get to the wallet and the phone...

At three, she is old enough to know that cell phones DO things and she tries to push the buttons on it. It's basically just one plastic piece so it is frustrating for her as nothing is movable on the phone. I'm not saying it needs to be electronic and beep, but it would have been nice to be able to push in the buttons.

As far as the wallet, again, it's just a plastic wallet that closes with a clasp at the top. My daughter found the pronged clasp very hard to open and I ended up having to open it for her every time.

Otherwise, it's a fun little beginner purse.
