In the early stages of infancy this rotating mobile enhances babies' listening ability while also helping them develop eye-tracking skills. As time goes on, babies will eventually recognize these stuffed animals as they slowly spin to the tune of Brahms's Lullaby. (Wind up music box plays for approximately three minutes). The fuzzy duck, furry bear, white fluffy rabbit, and patchwork giraffe are all dangling face down--so babies can see the smiling faces of each critter. When babies are able to push themselves up on their hands and knees, the mobile should be removed from the crib. It comes with a wall mount, so the mobile can be transferred to a safer location. Eventually, the critters can be cut down and used as play toys (after children turn 3 years old). The animals are designed to match other Little Suzy's Zoo accessories. --Hannah Reynolds

Summary: Almost perfect
Comment: This is the second Little Suzy Zoo mobile we have purchased. The first one we used for three and a half years (with our first daughter and now our second) and the music box finally gave out on it - so we ordered a second mobile to replace the music box and it now works perfectly! My only complaint is that had I not kept the original animals, I would not have been happy with these because Boof and Patches are oddly colored and don't perfectly match the other Little Suzy Zoo room items we have. On this mobile Boof is a really dark brown and Patches is yellow - instead of a soft creamy brown for Boof, and white for Patches.

Summary: Can't Count on this Company...
Comment: I'm the mom of a 7 month old girl. I got this mobile, along with the rest of the Suzy's Zoo line of nursery decor, for my shower. Since I didn't know if I was having a boy or a girl, the cute little animals and neutral colors seemed ideal. Well, the room looks adorable, painted in the color of Boof the Bear's stomach and hand/feet pads. HOWEVER, because I chose to go with this theme, no other mobile seemed to look right in the room. Why am I giving you this whole story? The mobile, which was attached to the crib rail, SNAPPED AND FELL into the crib (narrowly missing the baby's head, I might add) when my daughter was 6 months old. I didn't even have her in the crib until she was 3 months, and I don't use the mobile for music AT ALL because I have another product attached to the crib with longer lasting, more consistently tempoed music. So why did it break? I BARELY brushed the arm with the baby's blanket. I have seen similar reviews about these mobiles on this website (same maker, different theme) but didn't believe (didn't want to!) that a light touch would break a properly installed mobile. Well, folks, it happened to me too! For over a month I have been trying to get the company, Dolly, to respond to my inquiries regarding obtaining a new attachment arm or a refund. They don't even bother to respond. Well, as a consumer, I guess I'll say that the loudest voice is the one that vibrates the wallet...so if you are looking for a cute product, buy this mobile; if you want cute and safe, look elsewhere!

Comment: I could take this or leave it. I bought it for our church nursery since we were going with an animal theme. It is really cute, and the babies love the music and animals, but that's about the only positive thing about it. Assembly leaves a little something to be desired. The instructions are kind of vague. Plus, the decoration on the music box part was a sticker that you have to stick on yourself. The old kids tried to peal it off. It is not very sturdy when fastened to the crib. It might be better fastened to a wall, but it seems to want to slip a little when fastened to the crib. It was very hard to get the pieces to fit together without a lot of help. I give this item points for cuteness and entertaining the kids, but I'm not crazy about the ease of assemblly and the sturdiness/durability. It is not made out of the best or thickest material. It is OK, but I think I'd choose something else if I had it to do over again.

Summary: Baby Loves It!!!
Comment: Our 3 month old just loves her Little Suzy's Zoo mobile!! Around 8-9 weeks of age she started smiling and laughing at "her friends" as they "danced" for her. Out of all of the toys that our little one has she enjoys this mobile the most. Everytime we lay her down in bed she smiles and laughs! This is a must have for the Little Suzy's Zoo themed room!! We plan on cutting the animals off of the mobile when she pulls herself up in bed so she can play with her fellas as stuffed animals.
