Summary: Very functional bird feeder
Comment: We had to replace our longtime favorite tube feeder that was no longer manufactured. It surprised us that there are so many poor designs available and found only this one that was similar to our old one.
A good feeder (in our opinion) needs a large dome to help keep the seed dry and clean and a wide platform for cardinals. Metal feeding ports with perches are essential to prevent squirrel damage and accommodate small birds. We also want a large volume for multiple types of seeds. Price was not as important, but this was a deal!
We found all these options and were surprised on how easy it was to fill, the top screws off in seconds. It appears that it will be easy to keep clean.
Time will tell how durable it is but the birds are happy and that is what most important!

Summary: Functional and beautiful
Comment: This bird feeder is everything we wanted. It holds plenty of seed, it's easy to fill, it accommodates many birds at once, and it's beautiful. It even has little holes on the bottom so moisture can't accumulate. We mounted ours on a pole with a baffle to prevent squirrels from getting into it, which works great.

Comment: This is the 2nd of these feeders that I have had which must say I thought the 1st one was pretty good. My son gave me the 1st one about 5 years ago and it finally "wore out" with all the pellet gun holes (this is a bird feeder not a squirrel feeder). My only complaint is that the squirrels have figured out how to remove the plastic baffles at the feeding stations and the bird feed then free flows out. Keep the squirrels away and it is a really great well built feeder. Oh and by the way, black bears like it too. I have a picture of 5 bears sitting in my back yard eating seeds from the feeder which they had taken the top off of. The 1st feeder survived at least 5 "bear attacks" and was still functional, though somewhat bent up!

Summary: Great feeder, excellent price, seems heavy duty!
Comment: I got my feeder about a week ago... Chose the free shipping (super saver) and was shocked to see the feeder in 2 days!
The feeder pretty much comes assembled. You have to add the little stainless perches for the bids to sit on.. takes about 2 minutes total... then you simply screw on the copper plastic top, which seems very durable. The plastic on the top is quite heavy and seems like it would take a lot to crack it. The metal loop at the top that holds the feeder to your pole or tree is actually anchored to the feeder itself and you loop the hood through it. It seems like it could endure a lot of weight and never break apart.
I've filled the feeder with three kinds of seed.. you can customize the openings depending on the type of feed you want to add by simply flipping the covers up or down. I am amazed by the size of the feeder itself as well. It holds 10 pounds of seed and it was hard for me to visualize just how much seed this sucker really holds!
The plastic feeder tubes are also high quality and quite durable and thick. The copper accents are beautiful and (thus far) chew-proof! My squirrels have been quite baffled this week and have not been able to inflict any damage... this says a lot because I've seen these squirrels chew through tin, wood, plastics, etc.
My overall impression is this feeder is worth every cent! It is higher quality than anything I have seen at Lowes, Home Depot, Pike's, etc. and a whole lot more for the money. I am loving this feeder and all the different sorts of birds it is attracting!!!
All in all, I am even more impressed than I thought I would be by viewing the photos.

Probably is normal that it took several weeks for birds to get acclaimated to use it.
Squirrels have no problem climbing the pole to the seed. I bought it for the supossed anti squirrel properities.
Cardinals and other big birds do not visit. It mostly attracts ordinar
