Comment: The Amazon.com product description is exactly right on! This tool, made in Japan, is as sturdy as they come - beautiful wood handle, strong blade, and a very fancy sheath with ornate decoration.
The only problem is that it is so darned pretty you don't want to get it in the dirt. Anyway, I did, and it performed extremely well.
