Summary: Good ol' fashion puzzle solving
Comment: This game was possibly my favourite game to play in the NES era. you play a wizard Shadax who is on a quest to reassemble the "Staff of Demnos" before the Solstice to save Princess Eleanor from the evil Morbius.
the graphics were a sight for their time, and the music is amazing (i still get the tune stuck in my head sometimes). The puzzles are challenging and the gameplay is awesome.
which brings me to controls. The isometric layout takes a little bit to get used to, but after that it's smooth sailing. "Select" views a map and potion screen. "Start" is used to use a potion. "A" is Jump and "B" is used to pick up and drop items.
the controls are simple, but this game is challenging yet fun! it is not for the people who hate platformers, because in essence, this is a combo of block pushing and timmed jumping (along with a few leaps of faith). Definitly worth the cost!
