The Wing Little Giant 17-foot Type 1A 300-pound duty rating ladder system with work platform wraps several different ladders into a single package. You can use the Little Giant as one of five different sized A-frame ladders, nine different sizes of extension ladders, two scaffolding trestles that can be set at five different heights, 10 staircase ladders, and four 90-degree ladders. Comment: I've used this ladder outside & inside. It's a tad heavy for me; petite @ 5ft. But the wheels help move it, and it does what other ladders just won't do, like stairs! Good investment.

Summary: Beware. Amazon Has Incorrect Product Description
Comment: As "Bos "MM"" posted, Amazon is shipping the ladder without the "Tip and Glide Wheels". Since this is a feature of the latest generation Little Giant Ladder, I don't even know if the ladder also has the new Triple Locking Hinge.
What a hassle. The first one I ordered came as described above; I thought it was an honest mistake so I dropped off the ladder and Amazon shipped another immediately. Unfortunately, the second ladder was the same product. I am returning the ladder and buying it instead from the official website.
So I think there is a problem here. Amazon needs to either change the product description or ship the right ladder. Regardless, they wasted money for shipping two ladders to my place and back to their warehouse. It's their loss...
Edit: 10/06/07 - I now notice that the product is no longer being sold by [...] but instead from "Polsteins Home & Beyond". That's just wierd.

Comment: If you are the type who insists on only buying the best quality, best-performing tools, and you're trying to stay on a budget -- then don't borrow or use a Little Giant ladder. If you do, you will have no choice but to buy one.
It's simply that good a product: design, materials, construction, fit, finish, and overall utility. As for the reviews you'll see regarding the "identical" copycats "for only half the price" (Gorilla, for example), the knock-off comparison ends at visual similarity, from a distance. Spend 5 minutes with the knock-off and you'll quickly see that even at its substantially lower price, it's not a good value. Materials, hinge quality, welds, manipulation, etc. -- not even close to the LG level.
If you truly appreciate high-quality tools, you will appreciate the Little Giant product. Junk tools are always available at a fraction of the price of the good stuff. Multi-function ladders are no different.

Comment: just got the ladder it seems pretty good so far after getting use to it i can say the ladder is a good one, it's still too expensive, i would rate it at 5 stars if it was only $100.00 cheaper.
