Comment: This turntable is fair for the price. But I would strongly recommend investing in another cartridge for better fidelity. I use my turntable for recording my record collection to my computer, and I also use it along with my other Sony PSLX350H, mixer and Serato Live to mix music. I have been very happy with this model as it has not given me any problems. The feet do a good job at keeping the rumble to a minimum.

Comment: This is a first rate turntable and rather inexpensive to top it off.
It has adjustable speed control for making sure you are right on pitch for your favorite vocalists and/or orchestras.
It is compact and has adjustable feet which allow you to be sure the unit is level, preventing the tone arm from sliding across the surface of the record thus preventing damage to the record.
The cueing arm and lever offer precise positioning of the tone arm over any point on the record preventing any scratching or damage in moving to any disired location on the recording.
It is easy to operate and makes listening to your favorite old vinyl recordings easy and enjoyable.

Summary: Great Turntable.
Comment: I looked at a few turntables prior to purchasing the Sony PS-LX350H. I chose the Sony based on brand reputation and reviews since I was not able to listen to it before purchase. I am 56 years old so I am familiar with vinyl and turntable set up. This Sony was very easy to set up. I was impressed by its weight and looks. When I lowered the stylus onto the vinyl it was pure heaven relative to the price paid. I have had this piece of equipment for awhile and I have not noticed the speed variations as reported in some of the reviews. The strobolights are consistent with the pitch of the recording and I have never had a need to adjust the pitch control. If you prefer a direct drive with no hum, then I suggest to purchase a Technics, but you will have to pay $400.00 plus. If you want a solid performer that is built like a tank, then the LX350H is for you.

Summary: A turntable of excellent value!
Comment: I bought this turntable several years ago and this is a turntable of excellent value! Never had any problems with it whatsoever. The only thing that keeps this turntable a rating of 5 or more is the design....it is FULLY MANUAL and so when the record is finished playing you have to lift the needle up yourself;therefore, it would have been better if it were at least semi-automatic, huh? Following the instructions in the manual is satisfactory in terms
of adjusting the correct tonearm weight via the counter weight device...I had to experiment awhile until I found the best weight...but, when I found it, it was HEAVEN!
The cartridge or needle that went with the turntable is good - noticed a great projection is sound. My final thought is this: if you have a great receiver and great speakers, this turntable will be a great add-on feature.
Also, the price is right and also...THIS IS A SONY - A GREAT NAME YOU CAN TRUST! -John, Southern California.
