Summary: Bad steering wheel!
Comment: Never worked correctly right out of the box. The accelerator pedal has intermittent problem and will "stick" in full throttle. I had to rip the pedal assembly apart and resolder the connector pins to get it to work right. The R1 and R2 buttons on the wheel will activate at random sometimes which is very annoying. There is no neutral wheel setting, so cars in GT3 always drift - extremely annoying. Overall, a poorly designed and badly assembled set up.

Summary: This is a Horrible Racing Wheel - Don't buy it.
Comment: I made the mistake of purchasing this racing wheel as a Christmas gift for my son before doing any research. I went to the store and it was on sale so I bought one. After reading a few reviews I decided I had better stay up late one night and give it a try. My test was with NASCAR 2001. Not only is the center detent annoying, it makes it next to impossible to manuver the car. I was able to drive the road courses much easier and better using my analog dual shock controller! The problems that several people reported where buttons appear to get hit randomly are completely TRUE. This was not only an intermittent problem, it happened on almost every menu that came up in the short 1/2 hour I tested it. The only good thing about this wheel was that I bought it from a store that was close by and they took the return without question. After doing some research I purchased the slightly more expensive MC2 Racing Wheel which I am very happy with and expect that my son will love.

Summary: Impressed but Disappointed
Comment: I purchased this one at a local store because it was the only one they carried. I liked the fact that you can adjust the tilt and that it is telescopic to bring the wheel closer to you if need be. I plugged the wheel in and walked back to the couch to sit down. It does have a long cord on it. The only issue I experienced was that during the game(Grand Tourismo II) I noticed that it would randomly activate a button. I reset the controller to default and I left it on the Options screen. Within a minute or so it activated one of the menu options and no one was touching the unit. I plan to swap it for the Mad Catz 2 and try it.

Comment: This racing wheel was the first for playstation. It is analog and has a 300 hundred degree steering wheel rotation and that is more then any of the new racing wheels. The steering wheel can be positioned high and low so it is suitable for all heights. Also, it will easily mount under your legs or on a table top. This awesome wheel has an adjustable steering response system so you can set it so if you turn your steering wheel slightly, your car will turn a lot. Or, vice versa. A few things I really like about this wheel are that the cable that connects to your playstation is very long. It feels just like cruisin in my Beamer (BMW). One more important thing is this steering wheel is endorsed by Dale Earndhardt Jr. He is one of the greatest racing drivers in the world. If, you get a chance, buy this racing wheel.
