Summary: Best textbook I have this semester
Comment: I disagree with the other review of this book. The she/her thing is not distracting at all. Compared to my Torts/Property books, this book is very well laid-out. There is plenty of text in between cases to explain the concepts. The main thing I don't like is that some of the cases they include are not on-point except for in dicta. Seems like they should have been able to find better cases that were more on-point. I think this book is also weak on its (jumbled) explanation of damages. Otherwise, I really like it.

Summary: gender problems
Comment: This book is seriously marred by the authors' slavish adherence to the use of the feminine in their prose. You will be driven to distraction throughout this text by the shes and hers which abound. This distraction is particularly unwelcome as you are, of course, trying to learn something else altogether that happens to be a bit difficult. Perhaps another forum would be more appropriate for gender indoctrination - a forum where there isn't a serious purpose to be compromised. If you must work with this text, scan it, OCR it, and then global replace. He for she, his for hers, him for her, you get the idea. Then you've got a workable text. A bit too much work for the price, though, if you ask me.
