Bob Books Set 2: Advancing BeginnersBob Books Set 2 continues to build reading skills. Use of three-letter words and consistent vowel sounds in slightly longer stories build confidence. Children love the hilarious (and sometimes mischievous) stories and pictures. These twelve books, filled with fun, drama, and surprise keep interest high for even the youngest readers.

Customer Rating: Summary: early reader Comment: My son is 5 and he loves reading these books; it simple reading for building basic comprehension skills
Customer Rating: Summary: Great books for beginning readers Comment: These books have helped my daughter be a confident beginning reader. The words are very simple and we enjoy laughing at the pictures. She enjoys all the books, and feels very proud when she finishes one. She began with Set 1 at age 4 1/2 and is progressing quickly through Set 2. She'll be in Set 3 very soon.
Customer Rating: Summary: Can't go wrong with Bob... Comment: This is our first try at Bob Books and I'm pleased with the results. My daughter LOVES to read and I'm sure this series has a lot to do with it. As we move along in her reading program, I definately intend to buy the next set.
Customer Rating: Summary: Bob's Books Comment: These books were great. My son read through them all in a week. I highly recommend these books.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good Starter Books Comment: My 5 year old needed something more interesting than the starter books he was reading and this series has been a good way to add some variety. I do wish the pictures were more colorful, however.
