This one has the space in which to do so. In a classroom with parent aides and groups working on different things, it's invaluable.
LOVE the pockets in the front and back covers. (My one wish would be for Scholastic to 'plasticize' those covers, so they last out the school year.)
Some people think the size is a problem, but look at it another way - it's almost impossible to lose! When fully opened it's almost 4ft. long, which makes it really impractical to carry around. But if you like the size and just want to use it on your desk, the layout is simple: each page has Monday through Friday listed on the left, with eight empty blocks across the pages for each day for filling in activities. The little teaching hints on each page are a nice addition, and the front cover pocket is handy--and of course it's spiral-bound so it lays flat. (But still wish I'd gotten a smaller one.) It has plenty of room for me to write the daily assignments for multiple subjects.
