Firestar's three grandchildren have learned of the powerful prophecy that foretells their destinies, and the responsibility of deciding the Clans' future weighs heavily on the three apprentices. But each secretly yearns for power: Lionpaw dreams of being undefeatable in battle, while Hollypaw longs to be a great leader and Jaypaw knows only he can see the true past and future for them all. Their strengths are tested when ThunderClan is suddenly attacked—and all four Clans are thrown into a battle unlike any the cats have ever seen. Then a dark shadow falls across the forest, and a mysterious stranger warns the Clans of more trouble to come. For the first time, it appears that StarClan does not hold the answers the cats need. All of a sudden, the warrior code is being tested. A crisis of faith threatens to tear the four Clans apart and destroy what the cats have built their lives upon. . . .

Customer Rating: Summary: great!!!!! Comment: what in the world are jaypaws dreams about and what are hollypaws powers. i can not wait to find out in the next warriors book. what are tigerstar's intention with lionpaw. i want to know what happens next.
Customer Rating: Summary: ho hum Comment: When I first started the warrior series I was addicted, I couldn't read them fast enough. Now, it just seems they are not as sharp as it was in the beginning. I will cont with the books, but now I don't rush out the first day it is released to grab the book up but wait till its on the used book shelf.
Customer Rating: Summary: A dissapointment for Eclipse Comment: The title says it all, Eclipse. That is basically what the book rides on. I was gravely dissapointed with Outcast, but Ecplise is not much better. (Warning, spoilers ahead) I am sad that the swimming thing with Cinderpaw and Jaypaw was to short. Basically it was this: Jaypaw: Hey, let's go swimming! Cinderpaw: ok. Then they go to the lake a swim. Leafpool: What the Starclan?! Cinderpaw: oh, jaypaw's just teaching me to swim. Leafpool: Oh, ok.
It was too short, and i don't like how when the sun dissapeared for less than a minute, everyone starts freaking out. Omg, Sol! you are so smart! how did you know the sun was going to dissapear? Newsflash: It came back!
I like a little of Lionpaw's (im not using warrior names.) toughness. I like the secrets part of it. though i am sad that Jaypaw told them about the prophecy. Lionpaw quickly gave up on it though.
Hollypaw i think has some issues, she seems to worry to much.
and lastly jaypaw (my fav character!) i am sad that he has lost his grumpiness. and he seems a little obsesive in dark river about the stick. he seems to obsess over many things, sol, the stick, the prophecy.
so in conclusion, i think that Ecplise could have been better.
Customer Rating: Summary: The best Comment: This is the best book in the POT so far. I liked the earlier three to,but this is the best.
Spoiler Alert!! One of the best parts is the big battle. Shadowclan and Thunderclan team up to fight Windclan and Riverclan invaders. The battle is almost four chapters long.
In the middle of the book a mysterious cat comes to warn the clans that a darkness is coming that Starclan cant stop. It is not clear if he is good or bad yet.
Ithink that Lionblaze will be evil . He now hates Heatherpaw and he has dreams of killing Heatherpaw. He is starting to remind me of Anakin.
And as for what that reviewer who gave Eclipse three stars said,I think the books are going to be getting better not worse. It is a cool new idea about Starclan losing power. That means that Jaypaw and the other two can fufil the prophecy that was predicted in Firestars Quest.
Customer Rating: Summary: The Warriors Return! Comment: The difference between the New Prophecy and the Power of Three series seems to be astoundingly different. All Warriors fans can say goobye to the cliches and predictable characters of the second series; the Erin Hunters have brought a spectacular new miniseries to light, and Eclipse is, by far, the best.
The biggest problem with The New Prophecy was that the characters were all complete stereotypes; Brambleclaw was a conflicted hero, Hawkfrost was a ruthless villain (a complete Tigerstar copycat), and Squirrelflight, the comic relief.I enjoyed the books, but the plots seemed a little too predictable.
The Power of Three series, especially this new book, have succeeded in bringing back the old Warriors the way they should be. This book is the most interesting yet, as Lionpaw begins to show echoes of his granfather, Tigerstar, Hollypaw questions Firestar's decisions to let loners and kittypets into ThunderClan, and Jaypaw wonders if StarClan have abandoned them all.
This book even has a fantastic battle which was nearly as awesome as the battle with BloodClan, and is also interwoven with fierce and exciting action sequences. Interwoven through these conflicts is a deep mysteriousness as every single Clan cat begins to question StarClan's power, some more willing to lose faith in their ancestors than others...
This is a wonderful and thrilling book that will have your fingers flying through the pages. With rich, developed characters, a mysterious plotline, and just enough of the Warriors action we love, Eclipse is one Warriors book you won't want to miss! Let's just hope Long Shadows continues the excitement.
